Celebrating a Decade of Innovation, Connection, and Trust
Ten years ago, ScanReach began as a daring startup with a bold vision. Today, as we celebrate a decade of innovation and progress, one thing is clearer than ever: our journey has never just been about technology
— it’s about people .
It’s the relationships between our team members that have fuelled our agility and creativity. And it’s the trust
we have built with clients and partners that has empowered us to deliver high-impact, wireless solutions that
truly make a difference in the maritime world.
Over this 10-year journey, we’ve reached milestones that reflect the power of these partnerships and what
they can achieve. With Olympic Subsea, we developed a life-saving wireless POB tracking system that helped earn an OSJ (Offshore Support Journal) Safety Award in 2024 . With companies across Australia, France, Singapore and Netherlands, we have brought cutting-edge cargo monitoring to the industry . And with many short-sea and deep sea lines, we pioneered real-time wireless fuel monitoring on vessels, giving crews unprecedented insights into efficiency at emissions.
Each of these achievements wasn’t just a tech win—it’s a testament to the collaboration, trust, and shared purpose that drive everything we do.
For all our technological achievements, I’m most proud of the culture of collaboration we’ve built – a culture grounded in openness, resilience, and teamwork. Every challenge we’ve faced has brought us closer together, strengthening the bonds within our team and with our global network of partners . That unity is what enables us to keep pushing boundaries in an industry that’s evolving faster than ever.
As we look ahead, the horizon for maritime connectivity is vast and exciting. Wireless technology is on its way to becoming the norm on every vessel, from retrofitted fleets to state-of-the-art newbuilds. In fact, experts predict that within five years, more than half of maritime players will have onboard IoT solutions . I believe that soon “wireless-by-default” will even influence how ships are designed from the keel up – connectivity woven into their very blueprint.
On a personal note, I’ve had the privilege of being part of ScanReach’s journey for the past three years, but I’m deeply honoured to lead this extraordinary team now. My heart is filled with gratitude for every colleague, client, and partner who has been part of our story. Thank you for believing in our vision and in each other. Here’s to the next chapter of innovation and connection – together, the best is yet to come.
