Join Our Team as a Customer Success Technician!

Are you passionate about customer success, marine technology, and making a positive impact? ScanReach is hiring a Customer Success Technician to join our innovative team at our headquarters in Straume, Norway!

This role is integral in helping our customers maximize the value of our Onboard Wireless Network (OWC) solutions through comprehensive onboarding, seamless integration of new sensors and equipment, and responsive after-sales support.

About the Role: As a Customer Success Technician, you’ll be the bridge between our products and customer satisfaction. You’ll support sales, facilitate smooth product onboarding, and ensure that our clients experience top-notch service. Working closely with our Customer Success Team, you will contribute to ScanReach’s growth through high levels of customer satisfaction and positive word-of-mouth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Engagement

  • Guide customers through onboarding and training for our solutions.

  • Regularly collect feedback to address needs and inform improvements.

  • Keep customers informed about new features and updates.

2. Technical Expertise

  • Assess sensor compatibility and prepare technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and CAD drawings.

  • Manage or oversee field installations, ensuring flawless integration into the OWC system.

  • Provide technical support to address challenges and ensure optimal performance.

3. Operational Excellence

  • Plan and coordinate shipments and installations of systems and components.

  • Support sales efforts through accurate order processing and timely execution.

  • Identify upselling opportunities, such as expanding existing platforms or onboarding new vessels within fleets.

4. Market Intelligence

  • Stay informed about advancements in marine sensor technology.

  • Collaborate with regional resellers and gather market insights to align strategies.

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Background in automation, electronics, or marine IT, with experience in technologies such as Modbus, NMEA, and marine sensors.

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with tools for troubleshooting electrical issues.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly articulate solutions and collaborate with diverse teams.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with maritime operations and IT connectivity solutions.

Desired Experience and Certifications:

  • BOSIET, HUET, or STCW Basic Emergency Training certification.

  • Confined space entry and marine electrical maintenance training.

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
